We are hiring a Vice President, SE - Majors to lead the Solution Engineering organization that partners with our Majors accounts, some of the largest and most strategic enterprises in our portfolio. This leader owns the technical win across the Majors segment, building and scaling a world-class SE team that turns complex data and AI challenges into measurable customer outcomes on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. It is a chance to shape how our most important customers adopt agentic and generative AI, and to influence product direction at the highest levels of the company. AS A VICE PRESIDENT, SE - MAJORS AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL: Lead, hire, and develop a multi-layer Solution Engineering organization supporting Majors accounts, including SE directors, managers, and principal-level individual contributors Own the technical strategy for the Majors segment, aligning SE resources to revenue goals in close partnership with Sales leadership on the largest enterprise opportunities Set the vision for how Majors customers architect on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud, spanning data warehousing, Snowpark, Cortex AI, native apps, and secure data sharing Champion agentic and generative AI adoption with strategic accounts, guiding customers from proof of concept to production at enterprise scale Serve as the executive technical sponsor for top Majors accounts, building trusted relationships with customer CTOs, chief data officers, and VP-level stakeholders Partner with Product and Engineering to feed enterprise field insights back into the roadmap, influencing capabilities that unlock the largest deals Build repeatable technical sales motions, enablement, and value-engineering frameworks that scale across the Majors SE team Own segment-level metrics for technical win rate, POC conversion, and SE-influenced pipeline, using data to drive continuous improvement OUR IDEAL VICE PRESIDENT, SE - MAJORS WILL HAVE: 15+ years of experience in solution engineering, presales, or technical field leadership, including significant time leading enterprise or Majors segment teams A track record of building and scaling multi-layer SE organizations, including hiring and developing frontline managers and senior individual contributors Deep experience selling and architecting cloud data platforms, analytics, or AI solutions into the largest enterprise accounts Executive presence and the ability to build credibility with senior customer stakeholders on both business and technical outcomes Fluency in modern data architecture and applied AI, with the judgment to guide customers on agentic and generative AI use cases Strong partnership skills with Sales leadership, and a proven ability to align technical resources to revenue outcomes Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience BONUS POINTS FOR THE FOLLOWING: Direct experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data platforms in a strategic, large-enterprise context Hands-on familiarity with Cortex AI, Snowpark, or building AI-assisted and agentic workflows for enterprise customers Experience establishing value-engineering or technical value-selling practices at the segment or org level A network of executive relationships within Majors-caliber enterprise accounts Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. The estimated base salary for this role is $312,000 - $409,500. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s equity plan. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
