The Vice President, Trade & Payer will be a proven leader with deep expertise in pharmaceutical payer strategies and successful product launches. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this position will lead to the development and execution of a comprehensive strategy to support the successful launch and sustained growth of Tegoprazan, a novel potassium competitive acid blocker (P-CAB). This role is responsible for optimizing payer coverage, reimbursement, and distribution channels while ensuring patient access and affordability. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and execute the payer strategy securing optimal coverage, reimbursement, and positioning to ensure US launch readiness in early 2027. Lead pre-launch and launch readiness initiatives, including payer value proposition, pricing strategy, and contracting approach. Establish strong partnerships with national and regional health plans, PBMs, and government entities. Design and implement distribution and channel strategies (specialty pharmacy, specialty distributor, retail, etc.) aligned with product requirements. Lead trade relations, including contract negotiations with wholesalers, distributors, and specialty pharmacies. Establish pricing, rebate and discount strategies ensuring alignment with access goals and financial targets. Build strong relationships with internal functions (Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal) for successful cross functional leadership. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree required. 12+ years of progressive pharmaceutical payer strategy, or trade experience, including product launch experience. Deep understanding of US Payer landscape, including commercial, Medicare Part D, and Medicaid. Strong understanding of Trade processes and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements. Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills with the ability to foster solid working relationships across all levels within the organization. Strategic thinker with strong negotiation and executive discipline skills. Willingness to travel.
