About The Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our AI research and evaluation projects by reviewing, refining, and enhancing AI-generated video content. Your expertise in video editing, animation, visual effects, and storytelling will be instrumental in assessing the quality and effectiveness of media outputs used for training and benchmarking AI systems. No prior AI experience is required; your skills in video production and storytelling are what matter most.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in video editing, post-production, and digital media creation, with proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro. A strong background in animation, motion graphics, visual effects, and audio editing is essential. A bachelor's degree in any field, combined with significant professional experience in media production, will be considered. Candidates should demonstrate excellent attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—are necessary to collaborate effectively in a remote environment. Preferred qualifications include experience creating educational or instructional content, familiarity with AI training data creation, and knowledge of media quality standards and evaluation frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Review, evaluate, and refine video content, animations, and visual effects outputs used for AI training and evaluation.
- Assess AI-generated media for quality, accuracy, storytelling effectiveness, and alignment with project objectives.
- Organize, label, and maintain structured project files, media assets, and production workflows to support dataset creation and team collaboration.
- Develop evaluation rubrics, quality frameworks, and benchmark datasets for video, animation, and educational content.
- Apply expertise in visual storytelling, editing, motion graphics, and post-production techniques to enhance AI-generated outputs.
- Provide detailed written and verbal feedback to support iterative AI model development and improvement.
- Identify content gaps, edge cases, and opportunities to improve visual quality and narrative consistency across media assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams remotely to ensure production quality and adherence to project standards.
