About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join the Ticketup team. The ideal candidate should have strong video editing skills and the ability to create engaging videos for social media, promotional campaigns, events, reels, and digital marketing.

The candidate should have a good understanding of storytelling, visual composition, transitions, motion graphics, audio editing, and current social media video trends.

Key Skills Required

• 1–2 years of professional experience in video editing
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects is an added advantage
• Experience creating Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, and social media content
• Strong understanding of video editing, pacing, storytelling, and visual composition
• Knowledge of transitions, effects, typography, and motion graphics
• Basic knowledge of colour correction and colour grading
• Good understanding of audio editing, background music, voiceovers, and sound effects
• Ability to create videos in different formats and aspect ratios
• Knowledge of current social media video trends
• Strong attention to detail and creativity
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A strong portfolio/showreel is required

Roles & Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into engaging and professional-quality videos.
• Create Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, event videos, advertisements, and social media content.
• Trim, arrange, and sequence footage to create a strong storytelling flow.
• Add transitions, animations, text, captions, motion graphics, and visual effects.
• Perform basic colour correction and colour grading.
• Sync voiceovers, music, sound effects, and other audio elements with video.
• Create engaging opening hooks and visually appealing content for social media.
• Resize and optimize videos for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
• Maintain consistent branding, fonts, colours, and visual style across all videos.
• Work closely with the content and marketing team to understand video requirements.
• Implement feedback and revisions efficiently.
• Organize and manage video files, project files, footage, and other digital assets.
• Ensure all videos are delivered within the assigned timelines.
• Stay updated with trending video formats, editing styles, transitions, and social media trends.
• Maintain high-quality output while handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Any degree, diploma, or certification in Video Editing, Multimedia, Visual Communication, Film Production, or a related field is preferred.
• 1–2 years of relevant video editing experience.
• Candidates must have a portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work.
• Experience working with digital marketing or social media content will be an advantage.
