Role Description This full-time Video Editor role is a hybrid position based in the Greater Kolkata Area, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Video Editor will handle end-to-end post-production, including assembling raw footage, editing sequences, adding transitions, and ensuring high-quality visual and audio output for various digital platforms. Daily tasks include collaborating with creative and marketing teams to understand project objectives, incorporating motion graphics and visual assets, and performing color grading to achieve consistent, polished results. The role also involves adapting content for different formats and aspect ratios, maintaining organized project files, and meeting deadlines across multiple concurrent projects. The Video Editor is expected to contribute ideas to improve visual storytelling and maintain brand consistency across all video content. Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing to manage end-to-end post-production workflows.
Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual aesthetics across projects.
Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging visual elements and enhance storytelling.
Proficiency with industry-standard editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) is highly beneficial.
Strong sense of visual storytelling, timing, and attention to detail, with the ability to follow brand guidelines and creative briefs.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and manage multiple projects.
Relevant experience as a Video Editor or in a similar post-production role; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating past work is preferred.
A diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, Design, or a related field is beneficial but equivalent practical experience is also valued.
