Role Description

We're looking for a skilled video editor who can turn raw footage into polished, engaging content that keeps people watching. You'll be the editor behind our founder's personal brand and company content, taking talking-head footage, b-roll, and screen recordings and shaping them into videos that hook viewers in the first seconds and hold them to the end.

If you understand retention editing, clean pacing, and the style of top creator/educational YouTube content, this is for you.

What you'll do

• Edit long-form YouTube videos and short-form clips (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) from raw talking-head and b-roll footage
• Apply retention-focused editing: tight pacing, punchy cuts, dynamic captions, zooms, sound design, and visual hooks
• Add b-roll, graphics, screen recordings, and motion elements that support the story and keep energy high
• Repurpose long-form videos into multiple short-form clips
• Maintain a consistent style and quality across all content
• Work from briefs and feedback, and iterate quickly to hit deadlines

What we're looking for

• Proven video editing experience with a portfolio we can watch (a must)
• Strong skills in Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar
• A sharp sense of pacing, storytelling, and retention — you know how to keep people watching
• Comfort editing talking-head content with b-roll, captions, and motion graphics
• Ability to handle high volume without sacrificing quality
• Bonus: motion graphics, thumbnail design, color grading, sound design

Details

Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, Saturday shift from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. You must be able to reliably work these hours from your location, regardless of your local time zone.

📍 Fully remote: open to candidates in any country.
