About the Role

Rankist is a Swiss Shopify growth agency. We work exclusively with brands in regulated and complex verticals: CBD, hemp, pouches, supplements, and other categories that most agencies stay away from. Our team of 15+ specialists covers SEO, CRO, Klaviyo email marketing, paid ads, and creative, all on Shopify.

We are now hiring a Paid Ads Specialist (Paid Social & Paid Search) to own Meta and Google Ads for our client portfolio.

What You'll Do

• Edit and produce video content optimized for direct response marketing performance.
• Create AI-generated product animations that showcase products in compelling, conversion-focused ways.
• Generate highly realistic AI UGC (user-generated content style) videos.
• Apply motion design to elevate the visual quality and impact of video assets.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to iterate quickly on creative based on performance data.

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience with direct response marketing — you understand what makes video content convert, not just look good.
• Excellent video editing skills with a sharp eye for pacing, storytelling, and detail.
• Experience creating AI product animations.
• Ability to generate highly realistic AI UGC.
• Solid motion design skills.
• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve, and other relevant industry software. Candidates must have access to the necessary tools/software to perform the role.
• A strong marketing eye — someone who understands trends, knows what makes content perform, and can bring creative ideas to the table.
• Ability to take a brief and independently develop concepts, without needing every step explained. We are looking for someone who can think strategically, create assets from scratch, and proactively suggest improvements.

Practical test: As part of the application, we ask candidates to complete a short practical test: create a 10-second product animation using any existing e-commerce product of your choice (for example, a Rituals product, a bag of chips, or any other consumer product you like). This is purely for evaluation purposes to help us assess your animation and editing skills, and will not be used commercially.
