What you’ll do You'll become a trusted part of the account team, helping to keep sales opportunities moving smoothly from initial customer engagement through to contract delivery and revenue recognition. Working closely with Sales Managers, customers, and internal teams, you'll play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience while ensuring processes, documentation, and commercial activities are completed accurately and efficiently. In this varied and collaborative role, you will: Support the end-to-end sales cycle by managing essential administrative and commercial activities, helping opportunities progress seamlessly to revenue recognition. Use sales and quoting tools to create proposals, conduct savings analysis, complete credit checks, raise orders, and support invoicing processes. Build strong relationships with customers and become a trusted point of contact for day-to-day support, issue resolution, and account-related queries. Coordinate pre-sales statement of work activities, working with customers and internal specialists to meet agreed service levels and enable successful project delivery. Maintain customer documentation, processes, and account records to ensure continuity and a consistently high-quality experience. Support account growth by helping to identify opportunities, generate leads, research market trends, and develop insights into customer industries and competitors. Deliver targeted sales campaigns and manage smaller renewal opportunities for assigned customers. Produce customer reports, support debt management activities, and collaborate with finance and billing teams to ensure accurate forecasting and invoicing. Proactively contribute ideas that improve customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and overall business performance. Effectively prioritise competing demands, coordinate stakeholders, and keep activities progressing against agreed timelines. Who you are Experience working with business customers, ideally within a sales, commercial, customer success, or target-driven environment. A good understanding of sales processes and experience using tools such as CPQ, Ignite, Swift, or similar commercial systems. Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues at all levels. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with confidence taking ownership of tasks and seeing them through to completion. Strong analytical thinking and the ability to interpret customer requirements, commercial information, and business data. A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and coordinate activities to achieve the best outcomes for customers. An interest in understanding industries, market trends, and customer challenges to help uncover growth opportunities. Confidence working independently in a predominantly home-based role while remaining connected and engaged with customers and colleagues.
