Voice Engineer

Description Senior voice engineer with strong experience in modern voice and contact center solutions. The ideal candidate could potentially move toward an architect role in the future, but the immediate need is engineering level expertise. Someone who understands the business / application side of the contact center, including how Five9 connects into applications and what the end customer needs. Duration: 6 month contract to hire Location: Memphis, Chicago, Dallas would be great but not required. Ability to work any time zone. Must be US based. Skills Cisco voice, five9 Top Skills Details • Cisco WXCCE • Five9 contact center • Five9 IVR • Cisco UCS • Voice over IP (VoIP) • Carrier-based call routing • Contact center architecture and call flows • Creating / documenting IVR call flows • Understanding how carrier services integrate with applications and the overall customer experience Additional Skills & Qualifications • Team currently has Five9 stood up and is deploying a new Five9 instance and IVR technology instance • Longer term, the traditional IVR is expected to evolve toward IVA / agentic based natural language capabilities. • Backend work still needs to be built, including: o IVR integrations o Call continuity databases o Salesforce integration o Other application/backend integrations Would be nice to have: • RedSky / E911 • Salesforce integration • API/integration experience • Experience creating a roadmap or implementing a contact center solution from the ground up • Can take existing architecture and lead the implementation, rather than requiring the internal team to be involved in every step Experience Level Expert Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
