The Role

We’re looking for a motivated, enthusiastic social media community builder with a passion for sustainability to work with our friendly, dynamic team to inspire people around the world to make a better future.

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Community Builder in the online working environment. This role involves actively engaging with individuals in sustainability groups on LinkedIn and Facebook, dedicating 4 hours a day (2 hours on each platform) for 4 days a week. Additionally, the candidate will allocate 4 hours for meetings, webinars, social media, marketing-PR, and collaborative initiatives.


Key/Main Responsibilities

  • Spend dedicated time fostering discussions about sustainability and thrivability in relevant groups on LinkedIn and Facebook.
  • Promote and build a community around the THRIVE Framework, organising and promoting webinars within the sustainability groups.
  • Allocate time for meetings, webinars, and collaborative efforts to enhance community engagement and awareness.
  • Manage and actively participate in a minimum of 40 groups across both platforms, fostering a sense of community and driving conversations.
  • Work towards achieving OKR (Objectives and Key Results) goals, contributing to the growth and success of the community.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, providing constructive feedback to content creators, and contributing to the overall content strategy.


Minimum Requirements

  • Fluency in written English (preferred).
  • Bachelor Degree in communications, media, or other relevant field.
  • At least 1 year of commercial experience in a social media engagement / post creation role, or equivalent experience.
  • Community management and PR experience is a bonus.
  • Understanding of how to create groups and facilitate discussions on social media platforms.
  • Ability to deal with potential conflicts in social media groups as needed.
  • Well-developed problem-solving abilities
