POSITION SUMMARY The Vice President of Global Sourcing for Finished Products is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers of finished goods to ensure quality, cost competitiveness, and timely delivery. This role collaborates closely with procurement, supply chain, product development, industrial engineering, quality assurance, sales and logistics teams to maintain a reliable and efficient supply base. This role will have a strong executive presence to lead and align the global procurement and sourcing activities for Finished Goods across various RealTruck distribution sites, from developing RealTruck’s Finished Product procurement and sourcing strategy, to deploying best-in-class procurement and sourcing processes/procedures/governance, selecting, and managing vendors, building internal procurement capabilities, and building a world-class organization to meet the needs of the business. This position will lead a global team and global activities to support the growth of finished goods for EBITDA improvements as well as revenue growth, with a strong focus on RealTruck’s Amazon channel. Impactful and influential cross functional collaboration at all levels of the organization is required. CORE FUNCTIONS Strategic and Operational Leadership: Formulate global Finished Goods sourcing strategies and drive tactical execution across all RealTruck’s Finished Goods spend. Drive an aggressive revenue growth plan with a focus on Amazon. Support and encourage the deployment of Lean Manufacturing best-practices across key RealTruck suppliers to address productivity, throughput and quality of supply as required. Encourage supplier collaboration to help support innovation and margin improvement or cost reduction initiatives. S upport new product development, Value Engineering, Design-to-value initiatives, or competitive analyses. Help shape product design “platforming” across brands in collaboration with Engineering. Problem-solve supply challenges, support production and planning by ensuring access to and delivery of materials. Conduct “make versus buy” evaluation of key product lines or components as needed; drive outsourcing / in-sourcing initiatives. Cost Analysis: Track commodity, raw materials, and commodity markets to inform procurement and supply strategies. Benchmark externally supply costs across markets to further inform RealTruck’s cost position. Lead “Should-Cost modelling” efforts to understand the detailed cost structure of purchased goods and components to help with fact-based negotiations events and understand exposure to cost input volatility. E valuate due diligence acquisition opportunities and deliver on synergy savings commitments. Leadership Development and Networking: Work with operations/supply chain, finance, and sales to develop supply strategies that can provide natural hedges for external sources of variation such as commodity materials. Coordinate with logistics team to manage vendors and SLAs. Drive supplier selection and qualification. Manage vendor relationships, supplier development, supplier productivity, and negotiation. Manage vendor scorecards, mitigate tier 1, 2, x supply chain risk. Build a team, support capability building, define centralized and decentralized procurement roles across RealTruck’s brands. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred . 15+ years of best-in-class strategic sourcing experience required, including spend cube and spend management, supplier selection , supplier development, supplier management, and contract negotiations through traditional and e-auction / reverse auctions methods across both, direct and indirect spend . Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Travel Occasional travel is required; approximately 10-20% as needed. SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES · Plans, organizes, evaluates, and directs the employees within the department function. Has direct reports. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS · This position is subject to Sedentary Work : Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involved sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.
