Role Description The VP of PMO at Twelve is a full-time, remote role responsible for establishing and leading the Project Management Office to drive strategic initiatives and cross-functional programs across the organization. This role oversees program and project portfolios, defines standards and best practices, and ensures alignment with Twelve’s growth and operational goals. The VP of PMO will collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and growth teams to prioritize initiatives, track execution, manage risks and dependencies, and report progress to senior leadership. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting PMO governance frameworks, mentoring project and program managers, optimizing resource allocation, and improving processes to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget. The role also involves using data and analytics to inform decisions, enhance performance metrics, and continuously refine Twelve’s delivery capabilities as the company scales across markets.
Qualifications

• Strong Program Management and Project Management skills, with a track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy to execution.
• Deep experience in building and running a Project Management Office (PMO), including establishing governance, standards, and tools.
• Excellent Analytical Skills and Strategic Planning abilities to prioritize portfolios, manage risks, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Proven leadership experience in high-growth, technology-driven or fintech environments, preferably with exposure to emerging markets.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed setting, with strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, hybrid models) and modern project and portfolio management tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP) are a plus.
