Is this job info correct?

Web Administrator/Developer 2 Working Title: Front-End Developer – Angular Location: Los Alamos, NM (Hybrid — on-site preferred for local candidates; remote considered) Pay Rate: $38–$44/hr Contract: 1-year assignment with possible extension Work Schedule: 9/80A or 9/80B Clearance: None required. Unescorted (A-level) site access required; U.S. citizenship required. About the Role We are recruiting on behalf of Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) for a Web Administrator/Developer 2 supporting the Laboratory Directed Research and Development (LDRD) organization. This role supports development of a new LDRD platform with significant front-end design needs, and suits a developer who wants to help stand up an application that will be built on going forward. The work spans designing and formatting materials, coordinating and troubleshooting integration and interfacing issues, and ensuring compliance with Laboratory web site specifications, standards, and security policies, while using and developing Laboratory templates and standards. The position calls for a highly motivated individual who works well under pressure and may support several applications at once in a highly agile structure, all while maintaining the Laboratory’s high security mandates. A strong background developing front ends with the Angular framework is required. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop front-end interfaces for a new LDRD platform using the Angular framework. • Design and format materials consistent with Laboratory web standards and visual identity. • Coordinate and troubleshoot integration and interfacing issues across connected systems and services. • Ensure compliance with Laboratory web site specifications, standards, and security policies. • Use and develop Laboratory templates and standards to keep applications consistent. • Perform unit testing and related testing activities to validate application functionality. • Support several applications concurrently within a highly agile development structure. Required Education & Experience The position typically requires a bachelor’s degree in the liberal arts and a minimum of 2 years of related experience. A degree is a plus rather than a firm requirement — equivalent combinations of education and hands-on front-end development experience will be considered. Demonstrated Angular experience carries more weight than academic credentials for this role. Top Skills & Requirements • Hands-on experience developing front ends with the Angular framework is required. Candidates without Angular framework experience will not be considered. • U.S. citizenship is required. This position is open to U.S. citizens only. • Working knowledge of AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, and related front-end web technologies. • Experience with unit testing and application testing practices, including testing of ciphers or similar security-related functionality. • Ability to work well under pressure and support several applications at once in a highly agile structure. • Ability to develop within established web security standards and policies. Security Clearance No active security clearance is required for this position. The selected candidate must be able to obtain unescorted (A-level) site access, which requires U.S. citizenship and successful completion of the Laboratory’s access process. A current or prior DOE “Q” clearance is a plus but is not required. Preferred Qualifications • Familiarity with user experience (UX) methodologies. • Active or prior DOE “Q” clearance. • Local to the Los Alamos, NM area and able to work on-site. • Prior experience developing within a national laboratory or other secure research environment. Contract Details Duration: 1-year assignment. Extension is possible; the position does not convert to a Laboratory staff role. Estimated Hours: Approximately 2,080 straight time hours per year. Overtime and on-call are not anticipated. Work Schedule: Full time from the start, on a 9/80A or 9/80B schedule. Start Date: Immediate need — target start as soon as the selected candidate can be onboarded. Travel No travel is required. Occasional in-person meetings at the Los Alamos, NM site may come up, and on-site attendance for those meetings can be supported. Relocation is not offered. Interview Process Interviews are conducted via Microsoft Teams. Why Work at COMPA Industries? We strive to provide careers, not just jobs, for our employees.
