Mosaic Conseil is currently supporting an international manufacturing group that is expanding its digital presence into new territories. As part of this engagement, we are seeking a Website Development Internship to assist in building and maintaining the digital artifacts that support this expansion. This role is a fully remote position, allowing for focused, uninterrupted work from any location.
About Mosaic Conseil
Mosaic Conseil operates as a small, remote workshop dedicated to rebuilding one business artifact at a time. Whether it is a three year plan, a pricing grid, or a diligence file, we take things apart on the bench and put them back together against the evidence of the invoice ledger. Our process is personal and focused. We do not work on standing retainers and we do not produce slide decks. Instead, we return the same artifact a client sent, redrawn by hand and supported by a written argument. We keep the workshop small on purpose to ensure that the people who do the work also answer their own phones. By staying small and remote, we remain independent and focused on the evidence at the floor of the business.
What you would do
In this role, you will focus on the technical implementation of web based artifacts for our partner manufacturing group. You will translate complex business logic, such as industrial pricing models or supply chain logistics, into functional and clean web interfaces. Because we follow a builder and challenger model, you will spend your time constructing these digital tools while a colleague reviews the logic and provides feedback. The work involves ensuring that every line of code serves a specific business purpose and aligns with the written arguments we provide to the client. You will be responsible for the front end and back end maintenance of specific project modules, ensuring that the digital tools we deliver are as durable as the physical products our partner manufactures.
Helpful background
We are looking for individuals who value technical clarity and have a strong interest in how business operations translate to the digital world. The following attributes are beneficial for this internship:
- Basic proficiency in core web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with modern frameworks or content management systems used to build professional business sites.
- The ability to write clearly and explain technical choices in plain English.
- A curiosity for how manufacturing and industrial networks function internally.
- Attention to detail when translating layouts or business requirements into code.
- Willingness to receive direct feedback and iterate on work based on logical arguments.
- A disciplined approach to remote work and time management.
How we work
Our workshop is built on the principle of deep work. Every file or digital tool carries two names on the cover: one person who builds and one who argues against what was built. This ensures that every assumption is tested before a file closes. We do not have meetings that were not scheduled in advance, and we avoid the theater of corporate communication. Our work is handled on paper and backed by a telephone number that answers for ninety days after a project concludes. Because we are a remote team, we rely heavily on written coordination and clear documentation. This environment requires a high degree of autonomy and a commitment to intellectual honesty.
What the role offers
This is a paid internship, and the compensation is attractive and competitive for an entry level position in the current market. You will gain direct experience working on complex industrial projects for an international group while learning the rigorous Mosaic Conseil methodology. The role is 100 percent remote, providing you with the flexibility to manage your own workspace without the distractions of a traditional office. You will work directly with experienced professionals who perform the work themselves, rather than delegating to layers of management. There are no standing retainers and no slide decks, just the opportunity to build functional tools that withstand the scrutiny of the invoice ledger.
Precision in web development requires the same discipline as auditing a ledger or drafting a three year plan. We believe that a website is not just a marketing tool, but a business artifact that must be built to last and supported by evidence. At Mosaic Conseil, we focus on the structure beneath the surface to ensure that every digital tool we produce is as robust as the industrial networks it supports.
