CAP CONSORTIUM is opening a limited recruitment process for the position of Chief Bioscientific Officer (CBO), a senior scientific leadership role focused on the development of the biological sciences portfolio of the company.
For this recruitment cycle, we will accept up to 30 applications for evaluation.
The Chief Bioscientific Officer will hold a near-executive scientific leadership position within CAP CONSORTIUM, working directly with the organization’s scientific, technological and strategic leadership.
The position is primarily focused on two areas:
1. Development of proprietary scientific protocols
Design, validation, optimization and documentation of biological and biotechnological protocols derived from Cold Atmospheric Plasma technologies.
2. Scientific publications and knowledge generation
Development of scientific manuscripts, experimental programs, technical reports, intellectual property and new technological knowledge generated within CAP CONSORTIUM.

The Chief Bioscientific Officer will be expected to:
• Lead the biological design of research and development programs.
• Develop proprietary experimental protocols and methodologies.
• Coordinate biological validation of CAP-based technologies.
• Design experimental frameworks and interpret scientific results.
• Prepare scientific publications and technical documentation.
• Identify patentable findings and support intellectual-property development.
• Collaborate with universities, laboratories, scientists and industrial partners.
• Support the translation of scientific discoveries into proprietary technologies and commercial platforms.
• Contribute to the long-term construction of CAP CONSORTIUM’s scientific and intellectual-property portfolio.

In addition to the compensation structure associated with the position, the role may include performance incentives linked to the generation of valuable scientific knowledge, proprietary technologies and patentable intellectual property.
For qualifying developments, financial value generated through patents, licensing, technology transfer or commercialization may be shared with participating scientific contributors according to the applicable agreements and intellectual-property framework.

Previous experience in plasma science is not required.
We are seeking a scientist capable of becoming the principal biological scientific counterpart to our plasma physics, engineering and technology-development teams.
🌎 Remote participation is possible.
The position may be performed remotely for activities involving scientific leadership, experimental design, protocol development, manuscript preparation, data interpretation and coordination with collaborators.
On-site participation may occasionally be required for specific experiments, technological missions or strategic scientific meetings.
