🚨 We're Hiring! Remote Medical Billing Account Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Remote Medical Billing Account Manager to support our revenue cycle operations on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who can step in quickly, manage day-to-day billing functions, and maintain consistency across claims processing, follow-up, collections, and account management.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working within medical billing and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) workflows and can operate independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review EOBs and ERAs to identify non-payment and denial reasons.
• Analyze and resolve claim denials and rejections.
• Review claims for proper diagnosis and procedure code linkage.
• Apply billing modifiers appropriately to support correct adjudication.
• Perform claims scrubbing and quality assurance before submission.
• Manage claim queues and follow-up workflows.
• Submit initial and secondary claims according to payer guidelines.
• Research payer portals and insurance websites for billing updates and claim resolution.
• Maintain accurate billing documentation and account notes.
• Ensure timely follow-up on unpaid or rejected claims.
• Support account management and client communication as needed.
• Work independently while meeting productivity and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Previous Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience required.
• Previous hands-on medical billing experience required.
• Experience with denial management, claims follow-up, and insurance verification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret EOBs and ERAs.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Previous remote work experience preferred.
• Experience in high-volume medical billing environments is strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting Texas-based practices is a plus.

Experience with one or more of the following systems is a plus:

• Office Practicum

Technical & Remote Work Requirements

Computer

• Windows 10 or Windows 11 computer required.
• Minimum Intel i5 processor or equivalent.
• Minimum 16 GB RAM recommended.
• Minimum 256 GB SSD storage required.
• Dual monitors preferred.

Internet

Recommended setup:

• Ping (latency): under 50 ms.
• Download speed: 100+ Mbps.
• Upload speed: 100+ Mbps.
• Fiber internet with a wired LAN connection preferred.
