We are an Automattic and WooCommerce partner managing 500+ hosted sites, a WordPress plugin business running on 50,000+ sites, and franchise-scale web infrastructure for education networks with 100+ locations each. Our distributed team spans the US and Latin America, and we run an AI-first development workflow built around Claude Code.

About the Role

We are hiring a WordPress/WooCommerce Developer to join our delivery team. You will build and launch client websites, customize WooCommerce stores, develop and extend custom plugins, and work through structured sprints in our internal project system. This is a shipping role: you will push real work to staging every week and see it go live.

What You Will Do

• Build WordPress sites and landing pages using Beaver Builder, custom themes, and Gravity Forms
• Develop and customize WooCommerce stores, checkout flows, and custom plugins in PHP and JavaScript
• Deliver franchise and multi-location site builds from established templates at consistent quality and pace
• Work within our git workflow: feature branches into develop, test on staging, senior review before main
• Use Claude Code and AI tooling as a core part of your daily development process, with the judgment to review, test, and own everything you ship
• Track your work in our project system with accurate timers, one task at a time, and clear status updates
• Communicate progress proactively in Slack, in English, with the team and in client channels
• Debug performance, forms, tracking, and plugin conflicts on live sites when needed

What We Are Looking For

• Based in Latin America with availability during US Eastern business hours
• 3+ years of professional WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin work
• Solid WooCommerce experience: hooks, templates, checkout, and extension customization
• Strong PHP and JavaScript; comfortable in the WordPress ecosystem end to end
• Disciplined git habits: branches, clean commits, respect for the deploy process
• Experience using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor) productively on real client work
• Fluent written English for team and client communication; Spanish or Portuguese fluency welcome
• A shipper: you finish tasks, mark them done, and move to the next one

Nice to Have

• Beaver Builder and Gravity Forms experience
• GTM, GA4, or server-side tracking familiarity
• Exposure to Python/Django or React (some of our internal products use them)
• Page speed and Core Web Vitals optimization experience
