Role Description The Work Safety Card Trainee role at Pointsi Oy is a contract position based in Helsinki with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site activities with some work from home. In this role, the trainee supports the delivery of work safety card training by preparing learning materials, assisting trainers during sessions, and helping coordinate course logistics. Daily tasks include gathering and organizing safety-related information, updating training content under guidance, and maintaining accurate records of participants and course outcomes. The trainee may also contribute to safety awareness communications and provide basic administrative support to the training team. This position is designed to build practical skills in occupational safety and training operations while working closely with experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Approved qualification to trainee is the first point to start the application process.
• Foundational knowledge or strong interest in Health & Safety and Occupational Health, with a willingness to learn and apply best practices.
• Understanding or coursework related to Environment Health and Safety (EHS), focusing on safe work environments and regulatory awareness.
• Ability to support Safety Training activities, including preparing materials and assisting in the delivery of work safety card courses.
• Interest or experience in Accident Investigation, including collecting information, documenting incidents, and learning root-cause principles.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact clearly and professionally with trainees and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage schedules, records, and documentation reliably.
• Comfort with basic digital tools (e.g., office software, online learning platforms) and the ability to work in a hybrid environment.
• Relevant studies or training in occupational safety, environmental health, or related fields are an advantage; prior experience in safety-focused roles is beneficial but not required.
