About this Position As a Workday HCM Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring effective operation, continuous improvement, and user support of Workday across the APAC region. Acting as a functional link between HR, IT, payroll, finance, and global teams, you will help ensure that HR systems and processes are accurate, reliable, secure, user-friendly, and aligned with business and employee needs. In this role, you will provide hands-on Workday support, maintain HR data integrity, troubleshoot system and process issues, support testing and system releases, and identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate HR processes. You will also contribute to broader HR digital transformation initiatives, including the responsible application of artificial intelligence and automation. Working in a regional and multinational environment, you will collaborate with stakeholders across functions and geographies while serving as a trusted subject matter expert for Workday and HR technology. What you´ll do Workday Support & Administration Provide functional Workday support for APAC, serving as the go-to expert for questions, incidents, and escalations Support key Workday modules including Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Talent, Learning, and Reporting Troubleshoot system and process issues, identify root causes, and coordinate solutions with HR, IT, and Global Process Owners Maintain system documentation, user guides, FAQs, and training materials HR Data & Governance Maintain accurate, complete, and secure employee and organizational data in Workday Perform data-quality checks, reconciliations, audits, mass changes, and approved data corrections Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT to resolve data discrepancies and ensure compliance with data privacy and governance requirements Testing, Releases & Integrations Support Workday releases, enhancements, configuration changes, and new module implementations Coordinate system testing and UAT, document defects and results, and support release readiness and post-implementation activities Monitor Workday integrations with Payroll, Finance, Recruiting, Learning, and other HR systems, coordinating resolution of interface and data issues Process Improvement & Automation Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate HR processes and Workday workflows Support improvements to approvals, notifications, reporting, and employee/manager self-service Conduct root-cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions to recurring system and process issues Projects & Stakeholder Support Contribute to regional and global HR technology implementations and transformation initiatives Provide guidance and training to HR teams, managers, recruiters, employees, and other Workday users Support the responsible use of AI and automation to improve HR processes and user experience What makes you a good fit Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Technology, Human Resources, or a related discipline Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience working with Workday, preferably in a regional, multinational, or shared services environment Hands-on experience with Workday is mandatory; Workday certification is preferred Experience supporting Workday modules such as Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Talent, Learning, or Reporting Experience with HR system integrations, payroll interfaces, data migration, or cross-system HR data flows Experience in system testing, UAT, Workday releases, implementations, and change management Strong understanding of end-to-end employee lifecycle processes and HR technology Experience identifying opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement Exposure to AI or automation within HR processes is an advantage Understanding of HR data privacy, information security, access controls, governance, and audit requirements Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and structured problem-solving skills Ability to translate technical information into clear business language Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills Proactive, customer-focused, and improvement-oriented mindset Amenable to work on a day shift schedule (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM), and report on a hybrid work set-up in Ayala Avenue, Makati Some perks of joining Henkel A thriving career with the Top 15 Best Workplaces in the Philippines by Great Place to Work and the Top GBS Employer in the Philippines by the Everest Group for 4 consecutive years!
