We're seeking an experienced B2B Writer with subject-matter expertise in engineering, industrial, manufacturing, and technology. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of creating authoritative content for technical and B2B audiences and can write with credibility across a range of complex industries. You should have professional writing experience in several of the following areas: Industrial services, including manufacturing, oil and gas, power generation, and water/wastewater management Manufacturing processes and product design Cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, network administration, and enterprise technology Software development and AI applications Electronic, mechanical, and software engineering Circuit design, schematic capture, simulation, PCB layout, fabrication, assembly, and testing You must be able to understand complex technical concepts, synthesize information from subject matter experts and technical resources, and produce accurate, insightful thought leadership content that resonates with engineers, technical decision-makers, executives, and other industry stakeholders. Requirements Requirements Salary & Benefits: This is a full-time telecommuting position with a starting salary range of $70,000-$75,000 annually. Benefits include: 2 weeks of paid time off 2 weeks of sick time Standard federal holidays 401(k) with $500 employer match after 6 months of employment Health, dental, and vision insurance after 1 month of employment Qualifications: Experience writing technical B2B content, including white papers, articles, case studies, or data sheets. Engineering degree or equivalent industry experience, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, electrical, mechanical, software engineering, or computer science. Subject matter expertise in industrial, manufacturing, engineering, cybersecurity, or IT topics. An understanding of SEO, GEO, and AEO marketing disciplines. Prior experience is a plus. Strong research, writing, and editing skills. Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail. Reliable internet connection and dedicated remote workspace. Duties: Leverage proprietary AI tools to write and edit well-researched and insightful articles for web publication and identify keywords. Work within our project management system to ensure deadlines are met. Collaborate closely with clients to gain expertise in your account’s branding preferences, campaign goals, and industry knowledge. Work with your account team to develop the client’s content strategy and ensure each deliverable aligns with the strategy, client expectations, and quality standards. Research your clients’ industries and business needs to generate high-value keywords and topics. Mentor freelance writers: assign them tasks, guide them during the writing process, and review their work. Review and edit fellow writers' work as well as your own.
