YouTube Channel Manager

We’re looking for a YouTube Channel Manager to help manage 5 YouTube channels for a major French media group.

You’ll work at the intersection of content strategy, production management and channel operations, coordinating editors and ensuring content is delivered, reviewed and published on time.

What you’ll do

• Identify videos from an existing catalogue to repurpose
• Select the best moments for YouTube Shorts
• Contribute to content ideas, titles and thumbnail concepts
• Manage the editorial and production calendar in Monday.com
• Assign videos and Shorts to editors
• Track deadlines and production progress
• Review edits and provide clear, actionable feedback
• Prepare, schedule and publish content in YouTube Studio
• Monitor key metrics such as CTR, retention and watch time
• Optimize packaging and content when needed

Production volume

You’ll support 5 channels, with approximately:

• 10 long-form videos/week
• 25 Shorts/week
• 35 pieces of content/week

What we’re looking for

• 2–4 years of experience in YouTube, Content Management or Video Production
• Strong understanding of YouTube Studio, Shorts, titles, thumbnails, CTR and retention
• Experience coordinating editors or creative teams
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Ability to manage several deadlines simultaneously
• Strong French
• Autonomous, proactive and comfortable working remotely

Big plus: Monday.com, YouTube Analytics, YouTube SEO, Premiere Pro / After Effects or post-production knowledge.

This is not a traditional Social Media Manager role.

We’re looking for someone who can run YouTube channels operationally, understand content performance and keep a high-volume production workflow moving.
