Who We Are

Five years ago, Dragonfruit set out to bring together some of the most talented visual storytellers, viral video strategists, and big-name clients, to change the way we create and consume on YouTube.

The result has been bigger than we could have imagined—billions of organic views and hundreds of millions of subscribers for creators like MrBeast, Ali Abdaal, Chris Williamson, Codie Sanchez, and Neil Patel, and organizations like Y Combinator, e.l.f. Beauty, WHOOP, ClickUp, Linktree, and the Center for Humane Technology.

Unlike other social media agencies or YouTube businesses, Dragonfruit refuses to celebrate a “creator economy” that trades viewers’ time and attention for rapid-fire dopamine entertainment.

Instead, we’re leading a global movement to make YouTube a more valuable and educational place for all people—where views and subscribers aren’t an end goal, but a means of increasing human flourishing.

Dragonfruit's Mission

Dragonfruit exists to help the world’s most important ideas travel farther. We partner with experts, educators, scientists, founders, and creators to turn deep knowledge into media people actually want to watch, share, and act on. In a world where attention is often optimized for noise, we’re building a company that rewards clarity, substance, and human impact — combining creative judgment, production craft, and AI-powered systems to help better information reach more people. Our mission is to build the creative infrastructure for a healthier, more thoughtful internet.

The Role

Dragonfruit’s Production Coordinators manage some of the most influential YouTube channels in the world—and they need a powerful operational ally. That’s where you come in.

As a Production Coordinator, you’ll be the backbone of the production process—keeping timelines tight, assets organized, and communication flowing between creative, editorial, and client teams. You’ll ensure our Producers can stay focused on big-picture problem-solving and client strategy, while you handle the daily precision that keeps everything on track.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-moving creative environments, loves bringing order to chaos, and takes pride in seeing a hundred moving parts click into place.

If you’re obsessed with organization, love checking things off lists, and have a strong sense of ownership—you’ll thrive here.

What You’ll Do

  • Keep production moving. Track tasks, timelines, and deliverables across multiple accounts to ensure no project slips through the cracks.
  • Be the hub. Maintain smooth communication between Producers, Editors, Creative Directors, and clients—sharing updates, gathering assets, and following up on blockers.
  • Manage assets. Organize footage, project files, and documentation across Google Drive, ClickUp, and Notion for easy access and clarity.
  • Support client deliverables. Prepare review links, collect notes, and ensure Producers have everything they need for client communications.
  • QC support. Help review exports for formatting errors (aspect ratio, captions, typos, etc.) before they go to clients.
  • Handle recurring logistics. Schedule internal and client calls, update project trackers, and log key decisions and next steps.
  • Anticipate needs. Flag potential bottlenecks early—whether an editor’s capacity, missing footage, or unclear deadlines—and propose solutions proactively.

What You’ll Bring

  • 1–2 years of experience in production coordination, project management, or creative operations (agency, post house, or creator studio experience a plus).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail—you never miss a follow-up or deadline.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working across teams and time zones.
  • Experience using tools like ClickUp, Notion, Google Drive, and Slack (or similar PM tools).
  • A “no task too small” mindset—you’re motivated by helping the team succeed and bringing structure to the chaos.
  • Ability to work PST hours.

What You Can Expect

  • Creative startup energy. Work alongside world-class producers, editors, and strategists at the forefront of YouTube.
  • Room to grow. This role is a launchpad to Producer or Production Manager paths for strong performers.
  • Global flexibility. Work remotely from anywhere.
  • Personal growth. Dragonfruit’s culture of excellence is built for people who want to sharpen their judgment, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Values-driven culture. We make content that matters—for brands, creators, and audiences alike.

Perks

  • 100% Remote Work
  • Quarterly Wellness Reimbursement (to use for therapy, gym membership, etc.)
  • Gifts/cash bonuses for birthdays, anniversaries, and achievements
  • Unlimited book reimbursements (we like to read 🙂)
  • Paid volunteering day for a cause of your choice
  • Direct collaboration with major YouTubers and mission-driven brands

Dragonfruit is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We provide equal employment opportunities to all team members and applicants regardless of gender, race, disability, sexual orientation, age, religion, or any other protected status.
