We started 2026 at approximately $100,000 per month and have since grown to around $500,000 per month. Our target is to reach $1 million per month by the end of 2026.

Our clients and work include names such as Gary Vee, ManyChat, Instantly AI and Glencoco. We have helped build some of the leading business channels in their niches, generating millions of views, subscribers and attributable revenue.

The role

We are looking for a full-time YouTube Thumbnail Designer to own thumbnail execution across VTC client channels.

You will be responsible for the thumbnails for 16 client videos per week, including the revisions required to take each one to a final, client-ready standard.

This is not a general graphic design role. Your job is to turn a strong title and concept into a thumbnail that stops the scroll, communicates the idea instantly and earns the click without relying on cheap clickbait.

What you will do

• Design thumbnails for 16 client videos per week, including revisions

• Work closely with the strategy team on titles, concepts and visual hooks

• Turn approved concepts into clear, high-impact thumbnail designs

• Produce additional variants when testing is strategically justified

• Respond to feedback quickly and improve the work without needing to be hand-held

• Study performance and apply what wins to future designs

• Keep every thumbnail on track for its publishing deadline

• Communicate early if anything could affect delivery or quality

What success looks like

Your main outcome is:

Client-ready thumbnails are delivered on time, at a consistently high creative standard, and give every video the strongest possible chance of earning the click.

Output alone is not enough. The work must be strategically sound, visually excellent and reliable at the required pace.

Who we are looking for

You should have:

• A strong portfolio of YouTube-specific thumbnail work

• A clear understanding of visual hierarchy, curiosity, contrast and viewer psychology

• Excellent Photoshop ability

• Experience designing for educational, business or talking-head channels

• The ability to produce high-quality work quickly and consistently

• The judgement to make strong visual decisions without detailed direction every time

• The ability to explain your creative decisions and respond well to feedback

• Strong ownership, reliability and communication

• Fluent written and spoken English

Three or more years of YouTube thumbnail experience is preferred, but the quality and performance of your work matter more than the number of years you have been doing it.

This role is not for

• Generalist graphic designers without strong YouTube-specific work

• Designers whose portfolios are limited to gaming, vlogs or entertainment content

• People who need detailed creative direction for every decision

• Designers who repeatedly miss deadlines or communicate problems too late

• Anyone unable to sustain the required weekly output without quality slipping

Compensation

$3,500 USD per month.

This is a full-time, long-term remote role aligned with UK working hours. There is significant room for increased responsibility and compensation as VTC grows and your impact increases.
