Must-Have Skills
Hands-on experience with
IBM z/OS Communication Server
Strong knowledge of
VTAM, TCP/IP, TN3270, FTP, Policy Agent & SMTP
z/OS environment access, navigation and administration
TSO, ISPF, JCL, VSAM & catalog management
z/OS and
JES2 operator commands
TSO/REXX, TSO/CLIST or SAS
scripting for automation
Mainframe connectivity supporting
MQ, DB2, CICS
and related middleware
File transmission, printing and email infrastructure troubleshooting
Monitoring and reporting tool development
Collaboration with Enterprise Network Services and Security teams
