About The Role

The core purpose of a Teaching-Focused Lecturer is to make a significant contribution to student success through the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning activities within the school.

As a key member of the course team, you will contribute to the delivery of modules and course content, helping to ensure students receive an engaging, inclusive and supportive learning experience. You will also support a range of departmental activities, including student recruitment events, departmental meetings and the provision of pastoral support to students.

Working closely with course leadership teams, you will help organise teaching resources effectively and play an active role in implementing enhancements to curriculum design and maintaining the school’s high academic standards and excellent student experience and outcomes.

You will bring strong subject knowledge, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and confidence in using a range of digital technologies to support learning and teaching. You will be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively and will contribute positively to teaching-related activities across the school.

Above all, you will be passionate about supporting students to achieve their potential and succeed in their studies.
