Job Description Summary The ACSC Structure Parts Repair Business Leader is responsible for leading daily operations for the Springdale structural parts repair plant, with responsibility for approximately 140 employees across production and support functions. This role drives performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) while leading continuous improvement and transformation within the Structural Parts business. This leader will set operational priorities, develop teams, solve complex business and manufacturing challenges, and ensure consistent execution to meet customer and business commitments. Job Description Role Overview Lead daily operations for the Springdale structural parts repair facility Provide leadership for a team of approximately 140 employees Drive plant performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost Ensure reliable, consistent execution on the production floor Lead the ongoing transformation of the Structural Parts business in an inclusive and empowering manner Establish clear operating rhythms, performance expectations, and accountability across the organization Monitor operational results, identify gaps, and drive actions to improve productivity, flow, and output Use data, experience, and sound judgment to make decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Champion continuous improvement using benchmarks, standards, and best practices Lead problem solving on complex manufacturing, operational, and business issues Influence strategy for the area of responsibility, including resource planning and execution priorities Partner across manufacturing, operations, engineering, quality, and other support functions to improve outcomes Develop leaders, build team capability, and foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous learning Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a High school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing) Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing and/or operations management Preferred Qualifications Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions Proven experience leading programs, projects, or operational initiatives Ability to document plans, build alignment, and execute effectively Experience driving continuous improvement and operational transformation Benefits GE Aerospace offers comprehensive benefits and programs to support your health and, along with programs like HealthAhead, your physical, emotional, financial and social wellbeing.
