Responsibilities As the Assistant Manager of Skilled Nursing/ADON at Burnett Extended Care Center you’ll develop a top-performing team and inspire them toward achieving defined results. The ADON is responsible for the supervision and evaluation of patient care performed by nursing personnel within their assigned skilled nursing facility/service area. This role will work closely with and support the nursing manager/DON to ensure the delivery of high-quality service and compliance with federal, state and local rules and regulations. Provides coordination and oversight of patient assignments, staff scheduling, patient flow and assists in meeting financial targets by effectively assisting in managing utilization, productivity, personnel, and supplies. Qualifications Education• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred Experience• 2 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting • Previous leadership experience in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred Licenses and Certifications• RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) Disclaimers • Pay ranges listed are an estimate and subject to change.• If any bonuses are noted, they are only applicable to external hires meeting criteria.
