As national leaders in research, patient care, and education, Duke Gastroenterology continues to experience significant growth and is seeking a candidate with strong clinical expertise to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in advanced endoscopy. The ideal candidate will be a skilled gastroenterologist with specialized training in advanced endoscopic procedures, demonstrating clinical excellence and a commitment to advancing patient care within a leading academic environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform advanced endoscopic procedures, including but not limited to ERCP, EUS, and other interventional endoscopy techniques. Provide expert evaluation, diagnosis, and management of complex gastrointestinal disorders requiring advanced endoscopic care. Maintain a robust clinical practice with responsibilities at Duke University Hospital and Duke Raleigh Hospital. Mentor and educate fellows, residents, and medical students, fostering a culture of clinical excellence and continuous learning. Preferred Qualifications: Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology. Completion of an Advanced Endoscopy fellowship. Proven experience or strong interest in teaching and mentoring within academic or hospital-based programs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
