Job Description Summary As Advanced Lead Engineer – Advanced Manufacturing, you will serve as a technical focal for a shop with production lines focused on (but not limited to) combustors, nozzles and afterburners. In this role, you will work within a team to own special processes for the site such as welding, heat treatment, brazing and EDM to develop advanced manufacturing solutions across both current-state production and future-state capability building. You will help mature concurrent technologies, support NPI, new technology, and new equipment implementation, and lead larger-scale manufacturing projects that improve production readiness and performance. Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Lead and execute manufacturing process and equipment improvements to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance (SQDC). Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing work instructions, process controls, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Troubleshoot and resolve complex manufacturing issues, including equipment malfunctions, process deviations, and material defects. Conduct root cause analysis for production problems and implement effective corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to optimize product designs for manufacturability and streamline production flow. Provide technical guidance and training to production operators and technicians on new processes, equipment, and best practices. Participate in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new manufacturing technologies and equipment. Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies. Support lean manufacturing initiatives and drive continuous improvement activities within the production area. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college OR a High School Diploma with 4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or a similar production support role within an industrial setting AND 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or a similar production support role within an industrial setting Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Desired Characteristics Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Aerospace) or a related technical field from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or a similar production support role within aerospace or a highly regulated industry. Demonstrated experience with various manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, welding, heat treatment, brazing, EDM or additive manufacturing. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement tools. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) is a plus. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment. The base pay range for this position is 101,000.00 - 135,000.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on July 31, 2026.
