The Role: In this dynamic Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic, you will be an essential member of a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering comprehensive, patient-centered behavioral health care. Your work will combine clinical autonomy with close collaboration, allowing you to practice at the top of your license while contributing to a cohesive care model. On a typical day, you will: Provide individual and family psychotherapy to children and adolescents with a wide range of behavioral health conditions Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Partner with psychiatrists, advanced practice providers, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate care and optimize outcomes Participate in integrated care delivery , ensuring behavioral health is aligned with the broader clinical picture Engage and support families through education, counseling, and resource navigation , recognizing their critical role in care continuity Maintain thorough and timely documentation within a structured clinical environment This role offers a balanced mix of clinical complexity and continuity , enabling you to build meaningful therapeutic relationships while addressing diverse psychiatric needs in a collaborative setting. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited social work program required Experience: 3 years’ experience post master’s required. Licensure: Licensed to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Commonwealth of Virginia (LCSW) or applicants with an active license from another state must obtain Virginia LCSW within 18 months of hire date. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires sitting for prolonged periods, standing/traveling or use of assistive and climbing (stairs, steps). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail, hear, speak, see, distinguish colors, read, ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull less than 20lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease. The pay range for this role is $63,939.20 - $102,294.40 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
