This Advanced Practice Provider role within the Ryan White HIV Program is a rare opportunity to deliver psychotherapy that meaningfully improves outcomes for patients living with HIV, while helping shape a growing, interdisciplinary program within a nationally respected academic health system. This position is ideal for a clinically strong, adaptable therapist who values collaboration, autonomy, and the ability to help build something impactful from the ground up. The Role As an LCSW or LPC embedded in the Ryan White HIV Program, you will serve as a trusted behavioral health clinician for a complex and resilient patient population. Your work will be deeply relational, clinically rich, and fully integrated into a medical care model that values behavioral health as a cornerstone of treatment. You will spend your days providing psychotherapy while collaborating closely with infectious disease providers, advanced practice clinicians, nursing, case management, and pharmacy colleagues. In this role, you will: Provide individual, couples, and family psychotherapy to adult patients living with HIV Deliver care within a medical setting , supporting patients navigating chronic illness, trauma, stigma, and life transitions Partner daily with an interdisciplinary care team to support whole person treatment planning Contribute to the ongoing development of behavioral health services within the Ryan White Program Adapt your clinical approach as the program evolves, bringing flexibility, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset Build longitudinal therapeutic relationships that directly impact retention in care and quality of life Advanced Practice Provider Scope of Practice: Clinical Provides expert evidence-based, top-of-scope care in their clinical practice Acts as part of a specialty team, collaborating with other clinicians as appropriate Provides health education to patients Maintains accurate, timely, and thorough documentation Ensures compliance with institutional and regulatory standards Leadership Supports development of best practices and protocols in specialty Serves on committees and workgroups to enhance patient care Provides education to learners in the clinical space Mentors new team members Administration Contributes to clinical quality improvement work Participates in professional governance through the APP Council Attends team development meetings at local and departmental levels Professional Adheres to ASPIRE values in all professional interactions Maintains appropriate licenses, certifications, and specialty training competencies Participates in local, state, and national professional organizations What an average day looks like: You will balance scheduled therapy sessions with team-based consultation, care coordination, and documentation. The pay range for this role is $61,443.20 - $98,300.80 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
