HSHS Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Gastroenterology team in O’Fallon, Illinois. This role primarily focuses on outpatient clinic responsibilities with occasional hospital rounding as needed. You’ll be part of a well-established and expanding practice within the Hospital Sisters Health System, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. Practice Highlights: - Well established, growing practice. - Monday - Friday weekly schedule - No holidays or weekends - No required call - EPIC EMR - Clinics are within the hospitals, providing access to all imaging, labs, scans, etc. needed. - Ample training time provided with GI team. Position Requirements: - Unrestricted Illinois license and DEA prior to start - Board Certified - 2+ years of provider work experience is strongly preferred. *Experience in GI is preferred, but experience in other specialties will also be considered. Compensation & Benefits Package: - Base Salary: $128,153 With Bonus Earning Potential - Paid time off with holidays accrued bi-weekly - CME reimbursement + days available per fiscal year - Opportunities to earn productivity and patient outcome/patient satisfaction bonuses - Sign on bonus and relocation assistance both available Core Function: Provider Education Qualifications Master’s degree in Nursing is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred. Experience Qualifications Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required. Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred. Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred. Federal DEA license is preferred. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
