Job Description Summary The Aeroderivatives Services ITR Engineer develops bid strategy, equipment offerings, and technical proposals, and executes assigned project engineering scope for conversion, modification, and upgrade (CM&U) projects across GE Vernova’s aeroderivative installed fleet. This role spans the end-to-end ITR process (ITO + OTR), with strong emphasis on project engineering execution and ownership of technical deliverables for assigned opportunities and projects. The engineer partners closely with Sales, Commercial, Product Management, Sourcing, Project Management, customers, and suppliers to deliver technically sound, customer-focused solutions. Travel to customer meetings, site surveys, and other business needs may be required. Job Description ITO – Inquiry to Order Own preparation of clear, accurate technical proposals for assigned aeroderivative CM&U opportunities, ensuring alignment with unit configuration, customer needs, GE Vernova design standards, and quoting limits. Partner with Sales to evaluate customer requirements, respond to technical inquiries, and help define technically sound and commercially viable solutions. Own quality and on-time delivery of assigned proposal deliverables, including technical documentation, assumptions, clarifications, and internal review materials. Present proposal content in internal reviews and participate in customer discussions as needed to clarify technical scope and proposed solutions. Support development of practical sales and engineering tools, including standards, handbooks, and one-pagers, to improve consistency and responsiveness. Stay informed on relevant industry, technology, and regulatory developments and incorporate applicable considerations into proposal work. OTR - Order to Remit / Project Engineering Own technical execution of assigned aeroderivative CM&U project scope from handoff through fulfillment of GE Vernova contractual engineering obligations, with guidance commensurate with experience level. Coordinate assigned engineering activities related to scope, schedule, technical issue resolution, documentation, and risk identification/escalation. Produce and maintain required engineering deliverables, including drawings, layouts, bills of material, design documentation, analyses, and related technical records. Develop and implement design solutions that meet GE Vernova standards, customer requirements, and applicable government/commercial codes and standards. Communicate technical recommendations, design updates, open items, and execution status to internal stakeholders and customers through technical reviews and routine project communications. Support installation, start-up, commissioning, and field issue resolution as needed. Capture lessons learned and applied feedback to improve technical execution, standards, processes, and tools. Lean / Continuous Improvement Leverage lessons learned, customer feedback, and team input to improve engineering standards, processes, tools, and templates. Support cross-functional efforts to develop, standardize, publish, and maintain CM&U handbooks and standard technical write-ups for upgrades. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university 1+ years of engineering experience, including relevant internships or co-op experience 1+ years’ experience or academic exposure to electrical systems, controls, power systems, or integrated industrial/package systems Domestic and international travel as required Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Preferred Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills Internship, co-op, academic project, or professional experience related to aeroderivative gas turbine packages, power generation equipment, electrical systems, or industrial packages Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively across cross-functional teams Familiarity with engineering deliverables such as drawings, layouts, BOMs, and technical documentation Exposure to technical proposals, project execution, customer-facing engineering activities, or field support Knowledge of electrical systems and standards applicable to industrial or power generation packages Exposure to integrated mechanical/electrical system design Awareness of grid interconnection requirements, applicable codes, and industry standards Master’s degree in Engineering GE Vernova offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
