Job Description Summary The Americas Tier 1 Insights Leader is responsible for leading a team of Monitoring & Diagnostics engineers dedicated to proactive fleet monitoring and customer trip response across the Americas. This role plays a critical part in identifying fleet risks early, ensuring rapid response to customer events, and translating technical insights into actions that improve reliability and availability. As a frontline leader, you will develop and coach engineers, drive operational excellence, and foster a culture of accountability, technical rigor, and continuous improvement. Working closely with Customer Service Engineering, Regional Services, and technical leaders, you will help ensure customers receive timely, high-quality insights that support safe, reliable operation of their assets. Job Description What you'll do Lead and develop a team of Tier 1 Insights Engineers, building technical capability, engagement, and future leadership talent. Drive daily operations across proactive monitoring, insight generation, and customer trip response activities. Ensure high standards of technical quality, consistency, and adherence to standard work. Partner with Customer Service Engineering and Regional Services teams to improve customer responsiveness, recommendation implementation, and last-mile closure. Use operational metrics and continuous improvement principles to enhance team performance and customer outcomes. Champion Lean, Daily Management, problem solving, and a culture of continuous improvement. Support the development of future technical experts and leaders within Monitoring & Diagnostics and Services Engineering. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline. 8+ years of engineering, diagnostics, services, monitoring, or related experience. Demonstrated people leadership or team leadership experience. Experience working in a matrixed engineering environment. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Monitoring & Diagnostics experience. Customer Service Engineering experience. Gas Turbine or power plant operational knowledge. Lean leadership and Daily Management experience. Experience developing engineers and technical talent. Power BI, analytics, AI/LLM, and workflow management tool experience. Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $131,700.00 and $219,300.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
