Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant to join our established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Practice Highlights Monday - Friday Schedule: 36 hours of scheduled patient care and 4 hours of administrative time per week. Participation in practice call in rotation with the other providers in practice Telemedicine options and flexible schedules available Cases include: Sleep Apnea, Narcolepsy, insomnia, restless leg and children’s sleep disorders Additional Job Description: Education: Masters Degree required. NP or PA in clinical practice. Additional training in Sleep Medicine preferred. 5+ years of practice preferred. Current New Mexico License required. Requires detailed knowledge of Sleep Medicine Requires detailed knowledge of American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) clinical recommendations Requires detailed knowledge of Sleep Medicine in terms of theories and practices and to serve as the resource or educator to other practitioners in the medical field. Ability to effectively interact with customers to understand their needs and explain data Written communication Ability to work professionally and in a collegial manner with colleagues in accordance with Presbyterian policies. Maintains professional growth and development through CME activity in Sleep Medicine-specific topics for a minimum of 30 hours for every 3-year review cycle.
