Our SDG team in Salt Lake City, UT is eagerly looking for an Assembler II to join their dynamic team on second shift ! You will join the Manufacturing Assembly and Test team, reporting directly to our Assembly & Test Supervisor and enjoy an on-site, collaborative working environment. Hours will be 3pm - 12am Monday through Thursday, 3pm - 11pm every other Friday. As an Assembler II, you will add incredible value to the team by holding responsibility for: Setting up, operating, and troubleshooting manufacturing assembly line machinery/equipment Operating machinery/equipment to install a piece/part/component of an in-process product, assembly, or sub-assembly Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products Maintaining accurate daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis Cross training on multiple production lines To be considered for this Assembler II role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you: HS Diploma or equivalent required, Technical/Vocational training with high emphasis on mechanical systems desired. 3+ years electro/mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment is required; Aerospace experience preferred Position requires attention to detail, organized work practices, and good housekeeping skills to maintain a clean work center Must be able to read and work from assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, BOM, test specifications, and other instructions, both written and verbal. Salary Range Transparency: Salt Lake City, UT $21.00–$25.00 Hourly Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location.
