The incumbent will build cutting-edge analytics capabilities that help connect Federal Reserve staff with the supervisory and regulatory data needed to conduct prudent policymaking, effective supervision, and risk mitigation. The assistant director oversees both the Data Insights & Reporting team and the Data Governance team. This position is located in Washington, DC. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Direct definition and operationalization of a comprehensive data strategy encompassing centralized analytics, reporting, data management, and governance for the entire Federal Reserve Supervision function. Lead the strategic integration of key data programs, including Common Exam Platform (CEP) and Common Data Platform (CDP), into a cohesive ecosystem. Dismantle bespoke, non-integrated data programs across the organization, replacing them with unified, enterprise-grade data solutions. Oversee the Data Insights & Reporting team to build robust, scalable analytics and reporting capabilities, with a specific focus on empowering examiners with actionable intelligence and tools. Expand enterprise reporting capabilities to ensure strategic, data-driven insights are delivered effectively across all organizational levels and leadership tiers. Lead and mature the enterprise data governance function by seamlessly incorporating and consolidating Supervision's existing data governance teams. Establish, enable, and oversee rigorous enterprise-wide data standards, ensuring data integrity, security, and usability across the System. Build strategic partnerships, by partnering across the Supervision group and the broader System to facilitate collaborative data utilization and proactive sharing of business intelligence.
