ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - COMPUTER SCIENCE

The Department of Computer Science at Ithaca College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, starting August 2026. We seek a dynamic teacher-scholar committed to undergraduate education and to contributing to the continued evolution of our collaborative and forward-looking computer science program. Applicants from all areas of computer science are welcome, with particular encouragement for those specializing in artificial intelligence, human-computer interaction, media-focused computation, computer systems, or cybersecurity . We are in the process of launching new majors in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science , as well as new minors in Artificial Intelligence, App Development, Data-Centric Computing, and Computer Systems . New faculty will have the opportunity to s hape and teach in these programs, and to develop courses aligned with their own areas of expertise. Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field is required.
