Director / Associate Director – Transaction Services | Sydney & Melbourne

I'm currently partnering with one of Australia's leading professional services firms as they continue to invest in the growth of their Sydney & Melbourne Transaction Services practice.

This is an opportunity to join a market-leading team that advises some of Australia's largest corporates, leading private equity funds and international investors on high-profile M&A transactions across a broad range of industries.

The team has experienced sustained growth and is looking to appoint experienced Associate Directors and Directors who want to play a key role in both executing complex transactions and helping shape the future direction of the practice.

The team is open to speaking with both local and overseas candidates, with visa sponsorship available for exceptional individuals relocating to Australia.

Responsibilities

• Leading financial due diligence engagements across buy-side and sell-side transactions.
• Acting as a trusted adviser to corporate and private equity clients throughout the M&A lifecycle.
• Working closely with senior decision-makers while building long-term client relationships.
• Collaborating with specialist teams locally and internationally on complex cross-border transactions.
• Leveraging market-leading data analytics and emerging AI capabilities to deliver deeper commercial insights.
• Coaching, mentoring and developing high-performing teams while contributing to business development and practice growth.

What they're looking for

• 7+ years' experience within Transaction Services, Deals Advisory or Financial Due Diligence.
• CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to communicate financial findings clearly to senior stakeholders.
• A track record of leading engagements and developing client relationships.
• Previous Big 4 or leading advisory experience is highly regarded.
