Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automation Lead with strong Emerson DeltaV expertise to support a long-term pharmaceutical manufacturing project in Puerto Rico. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership across automation development, integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead DeltaV automation activities for pharmaceutical manufacturing projects.
• Develop, review, and troubleshoot DeltaV control strategies and automation systems.
• Apply S88 batch control principles to manufacturing processes.
• Support system integration, testing, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering, CQV, Operations, and Project Engineering teams.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership throughout project execution.
• Identify and resolve automation issues to ensure reliable and efficient system performance.

Required Qualifications

• Expert-level experience with Emerson DeltaV.
• Strong knowledge of S88 / batch automation principles.
• Proven automation experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Strong experience with automation troubleshooting, commissioning, and system integration.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work 100% onsite in Puerto Rico.
• Relocation support available for qualified candidates.
