B - Shift Supervisor Maintenance (Council Bluffs Case Ready)

Job Details: SUMMARY This position is responsible for managing four key goals: safety, downtime, budget, and overtime . Key Duties: Complete work orders and preventative maintenance. Supervise the designated maintenance/production crew. Track budgets and ensure product quality. Schedule maintenance crews and production orders. Maintain logs and records for the maintenance department’s safety compliance. Technical Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on: Frozen Block Grinders, Final Grinders, Blenders, Augers, and Conveyors. Work with industrial equipment, including: Vemag portion control equipment. Tray Denesting equipment. Omori overwrap equipment. Delford weight price labelers. Ulma bag sealers. Pearson tapers. Bizzerba labelers. Various other industrial machinery. Additional Responsibilities: Support team growth and drive continuous improvement within the department. Ensure compliance with OSHA and other local/state regulations. Instruct employees on the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Implement ergonomic improvements within the facility. Perform additional assignments as needed. REQUIREMENTS Resume must be submitted. Education: High school diploma required. Additional education, vocational training, or college coursework preferred. Experience: 3+ years of general maintenance experience. Strong electrical and mechanical skills required. Experience in Industrial Maintenance and supervision is a plus. Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels. Travel: Some travel may be required for training purposes.
