Department Overview In the Krakow PCR department (Professional and Commercial Radio) we are developing and delivering software used for business and mission critical communications & workflows in MOTOTRBO systems, Safety Reimagined solution and Application Developers Programme for 3rd party partners Our solutions are omnipresent in a plethora of verticals important in everyday lives such as healthcare, public safety, transportation, logistics, education, hospitality, energy, manufacturing, retail and many others. Our team is following industry-standard and modern software development practices like continuous integration/continuous deployment, DevOps, component- and system-level automated testing. We use agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to organize our work ranging from cross-functional teams to portfolio management. As owners, we are responsible for end-to-end software development life-cycle, including: specification and design, implementation, testing, delivery and maintenance. Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cloud Service Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reliable backend services that power our cloud-based applications. You will work closely with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver high-quality, efficient, and secure solutions. Basic Requirements ​ Technical Skills: 4+ years of experience Proficiency in at least one backend programming language JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js . Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub actions, Azure devops, Jenkins). Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
