Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $85,000.00 Annually Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinician – Mental Health & Substance Use Services Location: Seward, Alaska Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $65,000–$85,000/year (DOE & Licensure) Relocation Assistance: Up to $3,000 Housing: Staff housing available (includes utilities; modest payroll deduction) About SeaView Community Services SeaView Community Services is a mission-driven nonprofit organization based in the breathtaking community of Seward, Alaska. Since 1972, we’ve provided essential behavioral health services to individuals and families across the lifespan. Our compassionate, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach ensures that every client receives care that supports their unique path to recovery and well-being. Position Overview SeaView is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinician to join our dynamic team providing integrated mental health and substance use treatment services for both adults and youth. This position is ideal for a clinician passionate about whole-person care and making a meaningful impact in a close-knit Alaskan community. The clinician will carry a diverse caseload, providing individual and group therapy, conducting assessments, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support client recovery and wellness. Our program emphasizes evidence-based practices, holistic wellness, and the belief that recovery is possible for everyone. Responsibilities Provide individual, group, and family therapy for adults and youth experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges. Conduct clinical assessments, treatment planning, and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations. Collaborate closely with case managers, peer supports, medical providers, and other behavioral health professionals. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case consultations. Maintain clinical documentation that meets agency and payer requirements. Support clients in achieving recovery and wellness goals through a strengths-based approach. Qualifications Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Alaska licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) or eligibility for licensure within 6 months. Experience providing therapy to individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders preferred. Experience working with both adult and youth populations strongly preferred. Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care. Why Join SeaView?
