With over 150 years of manufacturing heritage and more than 1,200 employees across 30 locations, we are the only company in Australia that can design, manufacture, install, and service complete conveyor systems from head to tail You’ll play a critical role in installing, repairing, and maintaining steel cord and fabric conveyor belts while ensuring safety and quality are always top priorities. Inspect, diagnose and repair conveyor belt systems Perform belt splicing and joining tasks using specialised techniques and equipment Carry out maintenance and troubleshooting on conveyor belts and components Provide technical expertise and advice to customers regarding conveyor belt selection, installation and operation Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken Ensure a safe work environment and compliance with all relevant safety standards Proven experience as a Conveyor Belt Technician or Belt Splicer, ideally within the Trades and Services industry Strong technical skills and knowledge of conveyor belt systems, including splicing, maintenance and repair Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to quickly diagnose and resolve issues Effective communication skills to liaise with customers and provide technical guidance Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Relevant trade qualifications or certifications Joining Fenner Conveyors means becoming part of an organisation that values its people and supports them to reach their full potential.
