H Art, a Korean skincare and beauty retail concept under H-Mart Manhattan, is seeking a creative and trend-driven Marketing Intern to support the growth of our K-beauty brand presence. H Art focuses on curating the latest Korean skincare and beauty trends while building a strong digital identity through engaging and visually driven content.

Role Description

This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship role located in Manhattan, NY. The Graphic Design Intern creates print and digital materials for H Mart Manhattan and H ART, supporting branding, promotional campaigns, and in-store visual communications.

Responsibilities

• Create print and digital assets for seasonal campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives.
• Develop design materials for websites, social media, and digital advertising campaigns.
• Assist with branding projects, promotional merchandise, packaging, and marketing collateral.
• Prepare production-ready files for printing and coordinate revisions based on project feedback.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and execute creative campaigns.
• Assist with installing in-store marketing materials and capturing photo documentation for completed visual displays.
• Identify design needs and propose creative solutions.
• Stay up to date with current design trends and contribute innovative ideas for customer engagement.

Qualification

• A portfolio showcasing relevant design work is required
• Individuals who are legally eligible to work (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, OPT, H1, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related fields
• Proficient in using design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Media Encoder, etc
• Proficiency in both Korean and English
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position based in New York, with a standard Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Compensation

The starting pay rate for this position is $19–$22/hr, depending on experience, skill level, and other job-related factors.

• This is a full-time, one-year internship position. Depending on the candidate’s situation, there may be flexibility to adjust to a part-time schedule.
• Based on performance during the internship, there is potential for conversion to a full-time, permanent role.
• We accept candidates on OPT and other eligible work authorization statuses.
• Depending on performance and business needs, the company may consider H-1B visa sponsorship.
• Permanent Resident sponsorship could be considered based on business needs and performance.
