We are partnering with an industry-leading specialist contractor currently expanding their digital delivery team for an ongoing pipeline of mission-critical and data centre developments across Ireland. They need a BIM Lead who understands the realities of live construction and wants to drive technical standards on site, not just in the design office.

This is a fully site-based, hands-on delivery position. If you want a role that keeps you right in the middle of live construction rather than hidden away in a design office, this is the move. You will be the primary technical authority on site for all things digital, ensuring that the design intent actually translates into field-ready installation.

Responsibilities:

• Take complete ownership of the digital delivery lifecycle, steering a talented group of BIM Coordinators and Technicians to hit every project milestone.
• Act as the primary operational link between site teams, specialist subcontractors, and the end client, ensuring seamless alignment on standard digital protocols.
• Spearhead multi-disciplinary coordination, identifying and resolving complex MEP spatial conflicts long before they impact progress on the ground.
• Oversee the generation of precise MEP drawings, technical specifications, and schedules strictly in line with the project's digital blueprint.
• Help shape the future of the department by actively contributing to ongoing research and development initiatives for emerging BIM tech and optimized workflows.

Experience & Background:

• 7+ years working on major, complex construction projects, ideally within the data centre space or large scale projects
• A Bachelor of Engineering or a relevant degree in a related technical discipline.
• Strong technical expertise with an MEP bias in Revit, along with proficiency in Navisworks and AutoCAD.
• Experience guiding project teams or mentoring junior coordinators, with a strong focus on establishing effective digital strategies.
• Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills for a high-pressure environment.
