Business Development Manager

Flying Whales is hiring a Business Development Manager for VietGigs, our employment and payroll services line for foreign companies operating in Vietnam.

THE ROLE

Foreign companies arriving in Vietnam need the same things in their first year: someone to employ their hires compliantly, run payroll, and handle the filings. They find those providers through a small and knowable network: chambers of commerce, market-entry law firms, serviced offices, relocation and visa firms.

Your job is to build that network and bring clients through it. You will not be handed a lead list, because one does not exist yet. You will be given the brand, the service, the pricing, and the freedom to open the channels you think will work.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Build referral relationships with law firms, serviced offices, relocation firms and chamber contacts.

Represent VietGigs at AmCham, EuroCham, BritCham and similar events.

Run the first conversation with prospective clients and qualify them.

Work with the delivery side on pricing and scope.

Own the pipeline from first contact to signed.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You already know people in the foreign-business ecosystem in Vietnam, or you have worked somewhere that put you next to it: employment and payroll providers, serviced offices, relocation, market-entry advisory, Big-4 outsourcing.

Fluent professional English. Most of your conversations will be with people who do not speak Vietnamese.

Comfortable selling a service where the product is trust and compliance, not features.

Comfortable with a long sales cycle and a small company.

WHAT WE OFFER

Base salary plus uncapped commission on recurring revenue, with a guaranteed floor for the first three months while the pipeline builds.

A second business line, hosting and IT services for the same clients, to cross-sell into.

Direct access to the founders. No layers.
