Join our Toyota Material Handling North America team as a Buyer The Role: We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Buyer who brings decisiveness, strong decision-making, and expertise to the table. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensure time execution of internal customers' requisitions in accordance with company procurement guidelines for indirect materials and services. The Buyer will support IMS Commodity Manager, IMS buying team, internal customers, and supplier requirements. What You’ll Be Doing: Investigate and rectify $0 purchase requisitions, processing purchasing requests in various systems, and quotes from supplies Perform pricing record updates for inventory items as needed with tolerance standards Proactively tracks and resolves past-due purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment and mitigates potential disruptions Provide support in invoice reconciliation activities. Collaborate with Raymond Finance and Suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner Upload ethical buying principles while fostering a culture of integrity and transparency in the procurement process Actively participate in and prepare documentation when requested for continuous improvement activities Provide support for supplier reduction activities with feedback to senior team members and Indirect Procurement Management Perform related work as assigned Regular attendance in the workplace is required for interaction with others and to support teamwork What We’re Looking For: High School Diploma or GED is preferred One+ years of related experience is preferred High sense of urgency Discipline in order to support internal customers, while complying with procurement policies Detail oriented and high-level of attention to detail while performing Indirect Procurement's purchasing tasks Promotes a collaborative environment and commitment to achieving deliverables Competent with Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of SAP ad Ariba preferred Where and When You’ll Work: This is an in-person role located at our Greene, New York office—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like: Salary - $25 - 35/hr Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
