Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking a Cable & Harness Electrical Engineer - Level 3/4 to join the Vehicle Engineering Directorate within Western Region Engineering. In this role, you will support design, test, manufacturing, and procurement of DC and RF cable & harness assemblies and fixtures from multiple suppliers . This position is located onsite in Redondo Beach, CA. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Define and document electrical interconnects through coordination with system, subsystem, and unit engineers Incorporate project flow down requirements into the harness/cable design Prepare Preliminary Design Audit (PDA) and Critical Design Audit (CDA) data packages and support design reviews Assist in establishing harness/cable routing and segmentation Perform voltage drop analysis and capacitance studies Coordinate and document RF loss analysis Prepare and release equipment specifications, manufacturing assembly drawings, and interconnect diagrams Prepare fuse module, fusistor module, diode module, resistor module assembly drawings and test procedures Provide support to Manufacturing and Spacecraft Assembly and Test This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
