About the Role We're holding Captain Starlight auditions in Sydney for a unique permanent part-time role based in Alice Springs . If you're successful, we'll provide relocation support to help you make the move and join our incredible team. Captain Starlight is a superhero from Planet Starlight who spreads joy, creativity, and laughter to children in hospitals, clinics, and remote communities across Australia. You will be part of a vibrant and talented team that brings moments of light to kids during some of their most challenging times, creating positive, lasting impacts on their healthcare journey. As Captain Starlight, you will: Make a real and positive difference to the lives of others. Become the best performer you can be - we offer performance workshops with renowned industry professionals and the opportunity to participate in a week of Learning and Development in another Starlight Express Room of your choice. Be part of an incredible, diverse team of over 160 talented actors and performers, each with their own networks. Join either our Alice Springs Team in the Northern Territory. One of the most exciting parts of our Northern Territory roles is being part of Starlight’s Healthier Futures Initiative, where Captain Starlight visits remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community clinics to bring joy, fun and positive distraction to kids through song, dance, games and storytelling. This program plays a small but meaningful role in helping close the gap in health outcomes for Indigenous children. About you You have a performance-focused, Tertiary Qualification or Higher Qualification (ie. Degree or Diploma) or 5+ years of proven professional performance experience across a mix of styles. You’re a master of quick-thinking, reading a room and delivering exceptional experiences in a safe, imaginative, and entertaining way. You’re authentic, playful, and love collaborating with others to create memorable moments. Making the move to the Northern Territory Yes, you heard that right! We’re looking for performers across Australia to join our programs in the Northern Territory! We have a fabulous relocation package to support you with the move to the Northern Territory and have part-time roles available in Alice Springs. What's Next?
